Where did you grow up? Where else have you lived? Where do you currently live?

I was born in Fresno, California and shortly after, my parents decided to pack up and move to the Midwest. They raised my siblings and I in a small Wisconsin town called Menomonie, just outside the Minnesota border. While we didn’t have the ocean, a Target, or even a shopping mall to call our own, we did have plenty of nature to enjoy right in our backyards. I still miss the endless fishing trips with my dad (both in the summer and winter) and tubing down the river at The Bottoms.

After a year of attending the local University, I decided to transfer to Crown College in St. Bonifacious, Minnesota. It was there that I found my true purpose in life and also the love of my life, my husband. Later we got married and moved to the Twin Cities, where we currently reside in Roseville, Minnesota.

How would your family and friends describe you (in one word)?

Passionate or driven. No matter what life throws at me, and no matter how many times I fall, I always pick myself up and do better the next time. It is the passion inside of me that drives me to be a better version of myself everyday so that I can better serve others.

How would you describe your family?

Loud. Crazy. Loving. Generous. Food-addicts. I grew up in a family of seven children. Today, all of my siblings and I live just a few minutes apart, and we hang out just about every other weekend (we’re literally the best of friends)! You’ll always find us eating or cooking good food and making fun of eachother while we’re at it.

What are the values that drive you (to succeed, in life, as a person, etc.)?

My faith and spirituality are what drives me to stay humble, passionate and kind. I believe that everyone is connected as part of a bigger picture, so it is my responsibility to be excellent at everything I do in order to serve others while treating them with respect and kindness.

What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix

Who doesn’t love Anthony Bourdain? I watched all of his shows on Netflix all the way through. My favorites were The Layover and Parts Unknown.

Shark diving, bungee jumping, or sky diving?

While I have never done any of the three, I hope to go skydiving one day. It’s the least scary of the three.

Where would you like to go on vacation if you had a month off and money was no object?

There are so many places, I honestly can’t choose. Someday I hope to tour all the well-known cities of Europe and Asia.

What is your favorite tech tool and why?

Hands down, my iPhone. I love that there is an app for just about everything and that I can sync up all of my accounts to my phone.

Where is your favorite place to go on a weekday afternoon when you have no plans or obligations?

My guilty pleasure is a little shopping strip in Roseville called the HarMar Mall. I’m either people watching and reading books in Barnes & Noble, shopping for my little apartment in Home Goods, or stopping by the Pet Shop to greet the newest fur babies!

What is your secret to remote-work success?

Routine and structure. Everyday I try to wake up early to reflect through prayer and gratitude and then plan my day by the hour! I don’t really believe in multitasking because then you are never really giving any task 100% of your focus and energy. I like to break up my priorities for the day and set a time specifically to work on them so that I can be more effective and productive throughout the day.

What is the weirdest scar you have and how did you get it?

A pretty noticeable burn on my forearm that I recently got from being a klutz in the kitchen. I guess that says a lot about my cooking skills…

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

It would have to be Toploader’s “Dancing in the Moonlight.” This song is always magic to my ears!

Fun Fact!

During my middle school years I taught myself how to graphic design and code websites! I don’t do an extensive amount of either anymore, but it was because of those two things I found my love for marketing!
