Bidsketch is a proposal software business that helps customers create beautiful client proposals in minutes, and integrates directly in to most invoicing platforms such as Freshbooks.
Bidsketch wanted to gain more traffic from organic search, specifically to feed in to their email list which is their highest source of converting business.
We focused the majority of our campaign around building out content marketing resources such as proposal templates, proposal writing guides, worksheets, and ebooks that were all gated behind an email signup prompt. Each time someone entered in their email address on a dedicated landing page they would be sent the resource via email and be looped in to Bidsketch's marketing automation database.
We also focused on blog posts that would help create buzz around these resources, and help rank and give value on their own as well.
In a 6 month period compared year-over-year we achieved a:
- 52% Improvement in Organic Search Traffic from Google, from 171,100 searchers in 2013 to 256,000 searchers in 2014.
- 120% Increase in total Conversions from Organic Search Traffic to the email list meaning the searchers we gained were more targeted and likely to convert
